Davis' GI appointment went great. He weighs 26 lbs, 7 oz. That makes a weight gain of 10 oz. in 2 months! The doctor was going to take his Mickey Button out, but Justin wanted to keep it in for a little while longer 'just in case' he gets sick and we need to use it. So, we decide to keep doing what we're doing and go back in 2-3 months.
You won't believe what happened next...We got home and laid Davis down for his nap. Through the monitor, I could hear him playing with his golf ball set. (He's been getting out of bed and trying to escape from his room recently.) I went in there, looked at his bed, and found his freakin' Mickey Button laying there!!! This, of course, happens during the office's lunch hour, so I have no way of getting in touch with anyone. Murphy's Law, right?!?
So, I went all the way back to Scottish Rite. Justin, the doctor, and I decided to just leave it out, for good. No more feeding tube!!!!
