Traditions

Family traditions are an important part of what makes the holidays so special, right?!?  It definitely is for us.

One thing we do every year is drive to Lowery's Christmas Tree Farm, located in Talking Rock, and cut down our own tree.

This year, we picked a beautiful Carolina Saphire. They don't have any needles and have the strongest 'Christmas tree' aroma...two must-haves for me this year. They also have this really unique 'bluish/greyish tint.

Boogs was pretty impressed, anyway.

Boogs was exhausted and cranky, so she went to bed instead of helping decorate.

This was the first year that Davis was really pumped about helping us decorate.

But he never really got the hang of 'try to space them apart'.

So far, Boogs has shattered only one ornament, but she's been pulling them off every chance she gets.

What holiday traditions are important to you and your family?
