Slow Cooker Recipe

One of my favorite things about cold weather is my crockpot.  I LOVE the ease.  I LOVE the tasty results.  I LOVE everything about it. 

On Monday night, I made pot roast. 

How To:
  • Trim fat (not all) from bone-in pork shoulder roast and place in slow cooker (about 10 hours before you plan to eat)
  • Cover with dried basil, ground black pepper, and Lawry's salt.
  • Add...
    • 2 inch pieces of potato, onion, and carrot
    • (1) 10.5 oz can of cream of mushroom soup
    • (1) 4 oz can of sliced mushrooms
    • 2 cups of water
  • Cook on Low heat for about 10 hours, turning roast every couple hours
  • Put in your belly and enjoy
